Children’s Playground
The children’s playground at the Fishbourne Centre is a very popular local amenity which is maintained and funded by the FPFA which is a registered charity.
We have been making improvements to provide equipment specifically to enhance inclusivity for all children. We have completed Phase 1 & Phase 2 of our project by installing a fantastic wheelchair accessible roundabout & trampoline with a fabulous wide & weatherproof pathway to get to these inclusive play areas, as well as an amazing wheelchair accessible wooden play unit with double width slide and play panels.
We would like to upgrade some of the other equipment in the playground so are still fundraising – any donation, small or large, will help us achieve this goal.
The FPFA is a UK registered charity (number 305369) and we rely heavily on donations to allow us to continue to provide safe and accessible play equipment for all our young people.
All donations through ‘Let’s All Play’ will be used specifically for the development of the playground.
It’s very easy to pop in a donation for our fundraising ‘Let’s All Play’ appeal, small or large, via Be assured that every penny raised will be spent on creating a wonderful, multi-accessible and safe play area for all children to enjoy, and if you tick the box for gift aid that will increase the amount that we will receive.

The Trustees of the Fishbourne Playing Field Association are delighted to have received an award of £8,686 from the National Lottery Community Fund for their “Let’s All Play” project. The money contributed towards the purchase and installation of new equipment & pathways to make the playground ‘accessible to all’ including a wheelchair accessible roundabout & trampoline.
Fundraising continues to raise money for an all-inclusive multi-activity games play unit and sensory area.
